About This Week

This week is very short, thanks to Hurricane Irma. Monday and Tuesday were inclement weather days and I will be absent on Wednesday. You will have activities to complete with the substitute teacher over Chapter 6 Vocabulary- ¡De compras! and indirect object pronouns. You will also have time to prepare for tomorrow’s interpersonal assessment. On Thursday and Friday, we will begin learning how to talk about events in the past.

Thursday

What are the learning objectives?

  • The student talks about shopping and describes clothing in the target language.
  • The student understands the types of markets are common in the Spanish-speaking world and why they are common.
  • The student talks about events in the past.

What are we doing today?

  • Students will complete activities on the preterite tense.
  • Students will take an interpersonal speaking assessment.

What is the homework?
