What are the learning objectives?

  • Identify and summarize main points and important details and make appropriate inferences and predictions from a written text, such as a newspaper or magazine article or a contemporary literary excerpt.
  • Identify and summarize the main points and significant details and make appropriate inferences and predictions from a spoken source, such as a broadcast news report or a lecture, on an academic or cultural topic related to the Spanish-speaking world.
  • Initiate, maintain, and close a conversation on a familiar topic.
  • Use language that is semantically and grammatically accurate.

What are we doing today?

  • Students will take vocabulary quiz 4.1.
  • Students will go over the comprehension questions for En el futuro, todos autónomos.
  • Students will go over the answers for the listening comprehension activities for La equidad de género en la docencia.
  • Students will investigate, analyze and present the career outlook between their studied and home nations.
  • Students will write a journal entry about the effects that globalization will have on the career that students plan to pursue.

What are the learning objectives?

  • The student describes, narrates, and presents information and/or persuasive arguments on general topics with grammatical control and good pronunciation in an oral presentation of two or three minutes.
  • The student initiates, maintains, and closes a conversation on a familiar topic.

What are we doing today?

  • Students will begin reading Receta de mole Colorado tlaxcalteca.
  • Students will write a journal entry about leisure and entertainment.
  • Students will complete a speed dating activity.
  • Students will complete a AP practice multiple choice section.

  • Students will continue reading Receta de mole Colorado tlaxcalteca.
  • Students will investigate, analyze and present the career outlook between their studied and home nations. Be prepared to present to the class on Friday.
  •  Students will complete a AP practice multiple choice section.

You will have a  sub today.

  • Students should complete activities for Marta Harzas and ¿Qué difícil es hablar en español? (The audio and activities can be found in Schoology VHL and the textbook).
  • Students will investigate, analyze and present the career outlook between their studied and home nations. Be prepared to present to the class on Friday.

What is the homework?

  • Continue studying vocabulary 4.2. Quiz on 1/27
  • Mid- Unit Assessment on 1/30.

  • Students will take vocabulary quiz 4.2.
  • Students will present their research.
  • Students will review for Tuesday’s mid-unit assessment.

What is the homework?

  • Mid- Unit Assessment on 1/30- See study guide  and other resources in email.
  • Practice multiple choice selection on Tuesday. (For a grade)
