Monday

What are the learning objectives?

What are we doing today?

What is the homework?

  • Listen at home since we did not get to this in class: Students complete listening activities for El medioambiente: viajes naturalistas.
  • Read and complete the comprehension activities for La evolución de la amistad.  End of Unit Exam on Friday.
  • Complete research about dating practices in different countries. Be prepared to share your findings with the class tomorrow.

Tuesday

  • The student identifies and summarizes main points and important details and makes appropriate inferences and predictions from a written text, such as a newspaper or magazine article or a contemporary literary excerpt.
  • The student identifies and summarizes the main points and significant details and makes appropriate inferences and predictions from a spoken source, such as a broadcast news report or a lecture, on an academic or cultural topic related to the Spanish-speaking world.
  • The student initiates, maintains, and closes a conversation on a familiar topic.

What are we doing today?

  • Students will share their findings about dating practices in Spanish-speaking countries and make comparisons to their own communities.
  • Students will write a journal entry about love- hate relationships.
  • Students will discuss La evolución de la amistad.

What is the homework?

  • Students will read Cartas de mamá and complete comprehension questions.

Wednesday

  • Students will complete activities over essay writing.
  • Students will complete a practice AP reading selection. This will be for a grade.
  • Students will complete expansion activities in preparation for tomorrow’s test.

What is the homework?

  • Complete listening activities for El arte de comunicar and be prepared to go over the answers tomorrow in class.

  • Students will write a persuasive essay. .

What is the homework?

  • Study for tomorrow’s assessment.
